Andreane Lanthier Nadeau, or ALN, is a professional mountain biker that now competes on the Enduro World Series with the Rocky Mountain Race Face enduro team. She was hooked on biking at the age of 8. Growing up in Qu├ębec City within a strong racing scene, it was not long before she found herself on a start line. From early on, she focused on racing cross-country where she put in many great results over the years as a junior, U23, and elite on the national and international scene. In 2015, her love of trail riding and obvious talent for riding technical terrain sparked an interest in enduro, a discipline that was gaining a lot traction. That year, after racing the XC World Cup in Mont-Ste-Anne, ALN decided to skip the Windham World Cup and to go race her very first EWS at Crankworx in Whistler; She was instantly hooked. After a very steep learning curve, many new trails and limits explored - she is now a strong podium contender at the highest level of the enduro discipline. On her bike she is focused, aggressive, and yet smooth.
Aside from her biking Andreane has juggled being an athlete and a student for her entire academic career. She completed a BSc in psychology at the University of Victoria in April 2017. Andreane credits the supportive environment she benefited from and strong role models she was inspired by for having the chance to now live the life that she had dreamed of as a kid.
