My name is Ellie Winchell and I am from Powell River BC.  This will be my second year with Ride like a Girl and my second year racing. I am super excited to be part of Ride Like a Girl again and even more excited to have Emily as my mentor! Last year I had a ton of amazing experiences on my bike and I am really looking forward to doing it all again!  My plan for the year is to race the whole Island cup XC series to build up my fitness and do some race prep then I am hoping to get to the majority of the Canada Cup XCO & XCC races and National Championships, and of course I will be finishing off the year with some Cross on the Rock races and cyclocross goofiness. 

I race for a local youth race team in Powell River (PowTown RAD) and Taws Bike Garage.

This year is going to be a great one! I can’t wait to see everyone out on the trails!
