Hi, my name is Jade Blouin-Comeau, I’m 15 years old and I live in the beautiful Comox Valley. Ever since I can remember, I have always loved spending time outside in the wilderness. When I was younger I was enrolled in many sports such as soccer and gymnastics. Soon after quitting both sports, I got into the sport of triathlon and raced at the BC summer games. This year I started racing cyclocross which I really enjoyed considering how my season ended with 2 fractured bones and a surgery. Even with that kind of experience, I still want to continue enjoying riding my bike outside. This year I will start racing XC and ride for the Trail Bicycles cycling team. I am super exited to be part of the Ride like a Girl program and have many skills and tricks to learn from my mentor. My goals for this season is to do my best, feel more confident on my bike, learn how to ride drops safely and possibly podium at provincials. When not riding, I enjoy swimming, trail running, reading, baking, sewing and going to the gym for some cross training.
