Rosara Joseph

Leonie is an all round bike loving Australian currently living in Whistler. Leonie is an avid enduro racer under the LIV Cycling program. Before moving to Canada, Leonie gained national recognition in Downhill racing, being selected to represent Australia at the 2011 World Championships. If Leonie is not working or sleeping, you will most likely find her out on the trails somewhere in the Sea to Sky corridor or racing around BC.

Rosara spent many years riding around in circles, competing on the XC World Cup circuit and representing New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games, World Championships, and 2008 Olympics. After an ill-timed broken wrist screwed up her season plans, she entered the 2012 Megavalanche on a borrowed bike, discovered a new joy for racing Enduro, and spent a couple years racing the Enduro World Series. She now lives in Squamish and is a serious weekend warrior.

Trish fell in love with the feeling of flying through horseback riding when she was nine, and has been chasing that feeling ever since. In 2009, Trish was introduced to DH and she was hooked. She spends summers in Whistler guiding for the Whistler Bike Park and Arbutus Routes, and winters at Joyride150, an indoor bike park in Markham, On. In 2015, she had the opportunity to compete in the Crankworx Speed & Style in the Pro Men category. Trish enjoys pushing her own boundaries, and enjoys encouraging others to, ‘send it.’

Ride Like a Girl's mentors are world class athletes that are recognized internationally as among the best riders in their discipline. Not only are each of our mentors outstanding riders, they are also first-class individuals who are inspiring, fun, and have great insight into the mountain bike industry and what it takes to be an accomplished athlete. Our mentors volunteer their time during the season to connect with a young rider in their discipline, get out to ride together and share some of their knowledge about the industry and tips and tricks to excelling in competition, gaining sponsorship, and being a great ambassador for the riding community. During the 2018 season, each of our mentors will be matched with one young female rider.
