Enduro

Athlete match: Kaitlyn Teasdale

I am an enduro racer hailing from Whistler BC. I grew up riding in the WORCA dirt camps as a kid which is how I found me love of riding. When I was in highschool I took part in the North shore race league and it sparked my interest in racing. For the next few years (until grade 11) I focused on racing XC with the BC team, and it is where I first was apart of the RLG program by being mentored by Sandra Walter.

However, I then found that the technical aspect of riding suited me more (and I enjoyed it more), so I made the switched to enduro. Over the past 9 years I have competed in international (EWS, Crankworx) and National enduros (CEL, Local enduros).

At the peak of my enduro career, I was also pursuing my BSc in Kinesiology in Victoria, in which I helped bring back the UVIC MTB club and tie my interest of biology and high performance sports

I am now working as a coach and Kinesiologist back in Whistler. Which I help people come back from injury and train effectively and safely so they can perform in their activities!

Is there anything in this upcoming season you are especially excited about?
I am excited in partcipating in more local races, especially the women's enduros! And to transition to more of a coaching role and racing more for fun.
